9/11 was inspired by the events that took place on the day the World Trade Center was attacked. At this point in my exploration of mixed media, I found myself having the desire to "draw" hair rather than paint it. Because of this, I experimented with different colors. The idea to paint in black in white monochrome, while only adding color to things I wanted to put emphasis on, became a pattern from one piece to the next. 

It will be a staple within my limited edition prints for a while, as the original piece is not listed for sale. Serious inquiries regarding a steeper price for the original piece may be discussed over a collector call. I am limiting these to only 500. Once they are gone, they are gone forever.
