"On The Dock" was a more defining moment in my style as an artist. Through out my high school career, I was very adamant on drawing the female form. This was attributed to my high school portfolio when I was only 16 years old. My desire to add emphasis using color was starting to become more prominent in my paintings, however the more I used oil paint, the less I started using other types of media.

My outcry for more mature content was also peaking through, so this is when I realized I'd try it out, and see what reaction I would get from friends and family. At this point I found myself also leaning more towards painting in black and white monochrome, because leaving the subject's skin tone out of the composition seemed to bring more viewers together. 

This piece was featured in many places at that time, and scored me a place in the yearbook of my graduating class. It will be a staple within my limited edition prints for a while. I am limiting these to only 500. Once they are gone, they are gone forever.
